Word-A-Live's vision is to play a vital role in the bringing of the restoration of prophets and apostles to the Church, based upon Acts 3:20-21: And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.(emphasis added). This restoration of “all things” includes the restoration of apostles and prophets to the Church to take their place alongside evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Together these “five-fold” ministers will equip the believers for the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:11-12).
Along with the restoration of the offices of apostle and prophet, we believe God is restoring all the gifts of the Spirit which were active in the early Church. As the 1st century believers turned their world upside down through the power of the Holy Spirit, God wants to move in and through His people today. Equipping believers for the work of the ministry includes teaching them in the prophetic (revelation) gifts and apostolic (miracle) gifts (I Cor. 12:8-10). To prophesy is to speak forth the word and heart of God, as Jesus did (Jn. 8:28) and to do apostolic works is to do what Jesus did: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”(Mt. 10:8, see also Jn. 5:19). As the Church does this, the world will be impacted, a great harvest of souls will come in, and the Bride of Christ will be fully perfected for the Lord’s return (Eph. 4:13-16, Rev. 19:7-8).

Word-A-Live! International Church (WAL) was founded by Pastor Sandra Chipchase as she embraced the vision to become a Christian International (CI) Affiliate Church and to promote the Prophetic/Apostolic movement. WAL has been a CI Church since 1992 and this is the foundation of our ministry.
Pastors Mike and Sandra connected with CI around 1990 and today we see this movement everywhere! CI is one of many who have planted seeds for the Apostolic/Prophetic movement. CI books and curriculum are used in our church’s teachings and conferences as well as other locations we minister. Our focus is using the spiritual gifts in our own area to win souls and mature the Saints for the Work of the Ministry. We have always embraced the vision of CI and live it in our own church culture.
We hold Prophetic/Apostolic Conferences and meetings as well as teach it in other settings where we are invited to. We talk and walk the vision out.
cORPORATE VISION
Although every believer must have a personal vision for his/her own life, God also calls us to share a corporate vision as a people. This vision has been given to Pastor Mike and Sandra and is meant to be shared with the Leadership, the Congregation of WAL, and with all of God’s precious people who will be united in heart and purpose in fulfilling our divine destiny. When you become identified with the vision of Word-A-Live International Church you become a part of that vision. We believe the 5-fold ministry listed in Eph. 4:11-12 to be active in and for the local body today (the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher). We desire all Gifts of the Spirit to operate in our local body because God’s desire is unity and corporate anointing. We are to train up the Saints to evangelize in their community, to work for the Kingdom of God, to operate in their individual gifts and to reach their full potential in Christ. Our anointing is strong in the area of harvesting souls although many are just “passing through”. They get saved, touched and changed by the power of God’s written Word and a spoken Prophetic Word. We encourage unity among the Believers according to God’s command to love one another, and not to judge and be critical of one another. We work and strive to promote the above and to bring into the local body a “Real Christianity.” Instead of "playing" church, "worshiping" worship, and "acting" holy we encourage the Saints of God to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, so that they will produce fruit in God’s Kingdom.
OUR GOAL
Training, Equipping and Activating the Saints. (Team ministry is promoted because that is what God is speaking today).
Evangelism - in the community and institutions (training and doing).
Prayer – to raise up and develop intercessors through our intercessor’s prayer school.
Equipper’s Classes - to teach and train in all areas of the Word.
Sunday Services - designed to bring the people into the Presence of God through praise and worship, teaching and preaching, altar calls, etc. Those who come with an expectant heart to receive from God will be filled and satisfied when they leave. (Matt. 5:6)
Training Leaders - (and potentials) using leadership training classes and mentoring classes.
Future Goals:
- A larger Facility - to be a City Set Upon A Hill.
- A Teen Center - to reach out to teens in this area (using Team Evangelism)
- Prayer Teams (adding to what we already have)

We are in God’s Army to do His will and build a solid foundation. God tests and shakes everything to see what needs to be strengthened, fixed or removed. We must work together with Him using much Prayer, Love and Faith.
Vision: Our purpose is to train and equip those who God has called to this body, so that they might fulfill their destiny and calling in Christ and to build the Kingdom of God for the glory of our Lord– Jesus Christ.

Through the Grace of God we will accomplish The Vision set before us.
Grace: an “active” force within us “giving us the desire and the power to do things God’s Way.” A practical definition of grace: “TheGod Given “Desire” and “Ability” to accomplish God’s Will.” Ephesians 4:7 – “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” Our proper response or appropriate response is faith.
